Under the leadership of Chief Joseph Jefferson, the City of Braswell Police Department is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all visitors and citizens. Our officers serve with professionalism and integrity.
The Police Department’s primary function is to deter crime, respond to crimes in-progress, serve as the primary law enforcement agency conducting criminal investigations within the city limits of Braswell and respond to emergencies and situations that threaten public safety. The City of Braswell Police employs Georgia P.O.S.T certified law enforcement officers and civilian personnel divided into three bureaus: Field Operations, Police Administration, and the Office of the Chief of Police.Â
